Even though right now isn’t exactly the best time to travel, it is however a very good time to plan ahead for traveling season next year. So in case you want to travel to a relaxing, beautiful, gorgeous and nature-like place this is the perfect article to start your investigation.

#1. Bora Bora, French Polynesian Islands

Located in the Pacific Ocean near the French Polynesian, Bora Bora is beautiful, small 30.55 km² island, sorrounded by a diamond ring like island.

Bora Bora is filled with nature-like activities which include: Scuba diving with the island’s fish, a snorkeling cruise with the island’s local stingrays and lemon sharks (under safe supervision), a long walk on matira beach, a visit to the turtle center, or a relaxing afternoon sunset sail. In case you want to stay in you cabin and enjoy the view you should know room service is delivered by canoe. Flights to Bora Bora are limited with only 4 a day from the polynesian islands. Most nights in the island’s hotels are from $400–$2000 USD so beware of your budget before planning this trip.

#2. Scenic Spots: Plitvice Lakes, Croatia

Simply gorgeous, located in central Croatia near the cities of Zagreb, Zadar and Split, Plitvice Lakes are a series 7 trails with 16 interconnecting lakes sorrouded by waterfalls and mountains.

Plitvice has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1979 and has become an extremely popular site, receiving around 1.8 million visitors in 2018. The whole walk can take from 3–5 hours so it is best to get there early. One of the most beautiful attractions inside the park is lake kozjak which has turquoise/ dark blue water and a beautiful sorrounding dark green woods which make a dlightful scenery for your picture-perfect instagram post. The cost of the entrance varies from season to season and are as follows: 8 USD in winter; 16 USD in Apr-June and Sep-Oct; 26 USD in July and August.

#3. Grand Canyon, USA

Located in northern Arizona, U.S, The Grand Canyon is one of the world’s most famous natural wonders. With 277 miles in length, the Grand Canyon displays numerous coloured layers of orange and red with the copper coloured Colorado river paving its way through the 1.6 kilometer deep ridges.

There are a variety of things to do in the Grand Canyon and the most famous is of course: sightseeing. Climbing up the trails and overlooking the canyon from above is one of the most rewarding journeys. There are a variety of places, but the best overlooks are the “Mather Point” and the “Toroweap Overlook”. There are also other activities to do such as Mule rides, spend a night camping, go on a rafting trip or even take a thrilling helicopter tour. The entrance fee for a seven day pass is $35 per vehicle.

#4. Great Barrier Reef, Australia

Located far North of Queensland, Australia; the Great Barrier Reef is the only living thing that can be seen from space and one of the planet’s most phenomenal natural wonders. Home to more than 1600 species of fish, this is a perfect place to re-connect with nature and admire some extraordinary wildlife.

The size of the reef is actually insane, with more than 3,000 reefs stretching along Australia’s northeastern coast, it covers an area the size of Italy! Other than admiring the greatness of mother nature there is also plenty of activities to spend your time. The most common is snorkeling, where you can get up close and admire the seacreatures. If you’re up for a more thrilling adventure, you might want to try scuba diving. Finally, if you’re not a fan of swimming, a helicopter flight might be the way to go. Not only is it pleasant to admire, but a also a great opportunity to learn about how we can help our ecosystem survive!

#5. Cenotes and underground rivers in Yucatan, Mexico

When you think about a natural place you think about Mexico. Cenotes and underground rivers are what make the Yucatan peninsula one of the most incredible and peaceful places in North America. You may not know but the peninsula is made up of limestone which makes the ground porous and therefore has created hole-like caves over the last thousand centuries called cenotes.

As for what to do in these places it is pretty clear. Most people prefer simply swimming and enjoying the scenery, others prefer diving and the most adeventurous go snorkeling in the underground rivers. There are over 10 000 cenotes in the Yucatan Peninsula. Here is a list of the top five cenotes:
